Julia Liberali is a Los Angeles based Illustrator, born in LA and raised in Brazil. Julia’s illustrations are highly stylized. She always gives focus to the emotions and feelings being shown in the image. She likes exaggerated facial and body expressions, curves, lines and shapes borrowed from nature, pastel and opaque colors. As an artist her goal is to let the images tell the story. Her favorite themes are cats, solitude, weird people, children, old people and nature. She truly believes that everything that is too beautiful is phony. Julia has a big range of skills and has no problems adapting to different styles. However, she prefers to stick with digital and watercolors. Her inspiration comes from, German expressionism, impressionism, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Guillermo del Toro, Dr. Seuss and nature.
